a little more about me

I’m Nicola – a digital marketer, Instagram fan and parent of two lucky enough to live and work by the beautiful Devon coast.

There’s always been a space for the online world in my life. I grew up creating HTML layouts for friends and writing personal blogs, taking photos of my cat and making graphics for community forums out of stock photos. I’ve since swapped that for helping friends with their blog’s SEO and writing about family life, but those long nights learning about websites and playing in Photoshop seem to have paid off.

Starting from a background in administration and supporting events, I took on an opportunity to support the marketing and promotion of a project and haven’t looked back. These days you’ll find me managing social media channels, creating content and looking for new ways to use all things digital to our advantage.

I’m always on the lookout for new ideas, tools and ways to use them but my current favourites are getting really targeted and creative with Facebook Ads and exploring the benefits of blogging. My personal style is focused on storytelling, making brands approachable and bringing personality in through branding, photographyand words.

At home life is spent entertaining my two little ones, exploring the sights and scenes of Devon and the odd bit of photography. I also take on small projects for friends and clients, like refreshing a client’s Pinterest account or giving pointers on how to reach more readers for their product reviews.

What my clients say

Nicola has been an absolute pleasure to work with. From the very beginning with prompt e-mail responses, quick turnaround of services, very simplified yet thorough process – I’ve loved it all.

My Pinterest account looks beautiful, thanks to her. I especially appreciate the clarity in which she shared what was completed and steps for moving forward. She had fantastic suggestions to take my Pinterest to the next level that I hadn’t even thought of.

She is a true asset. I can’t wait to work with her again.
